What is AI Native Engineering?

AI Native Engineering is a discipline, not just a skill. It's about engineers who don't just use AI tools — they think at the system level: designing organizations, workflows, and architectures where human and AI capability are composed deliberately.

The central question of software engineering in 2026 is not "will AI replace engineers?" — it is "what kind of engineer will you choose to become?"

AI Native Engineers are architects, operators, orchestrators, and system thinkers. They build with AI as infrastructure. They design for teams that can include agents. They ship things that weren't possible before.
